Kristen Girouard-Zwizinski   Kristen Girouard-Zwizinski is the founder and principal designer of ReStyle Design based in Warwick, Rhode Island. For over 15 years, she has been collaborating with architects, developers and builders to design functional spaces for today’s families and businesses. Her refreshing creative style focuses on simplicity and environmental responsibility, reawakening interiors by creatively recycling or refurbishing spaces. Kristen’s expertise has been showcased on television’s Home Again with Bob Vila, and in the home design magazine Kitchen & Bath Business. An Ocean State native, Kristen received her degree in Interior Architecture from the New England Institute of Technology.

Lisa Zompa   Lisa Zompa is the in-house designer at Kitchen Views in Warwick. She has over 10 years of experience in kitchen and bathroom design and an interior design degree. Lisa also has a Bachelor's Degree in Business, with MIS for her major and minor in Marketing. She used to design computer systems and train companies on new software. Lisa joined Kitchen Views in early 2010 to serve the Rhode Island area. She is experienced in working with both builders and homeowners. In addition to her online photo gallery, you can see examples of her work online in the showroom section since Lisa also designed some of the vignettes in the Warwick showroom.

Jon Marcantonio   John Marcantonio is the new Executive Director of the Rhode Island Builders Association (RIBA).  Only the third Director in its 66 year history, John took the reins in July of 2011 and has been a leading figure in the industry from day one.  Committed to advancing the interests of the industry and helping member companies find work and save money, John brings to the position an extensive Marketing, Political and Construction background.  He welcomes input and looks forward to meeting and hearing from affiliated companies at the Dream Home Show.


Darcy Cook   Darcy Cook, President of Cook Professional Resources, Inc. d.b.a. Safety Trainers is a licensed healthcare professional, specializing in loss control. Her 20 years of experience in health and safety resulted in a recent featured article in Prosper Magazine, March of 2012. She has produced a CD on motivation that sold nationally and internationally. She is a wife and mother of two young children and volunteers on many executive boards and committees which impact the 21 industries that her company serves. Every Friday, from 11am–12noon, she is a radio talk show host on WCRN 830 AM. On Friday, June 22 Darcy will do her radio show remotely from our Contractor Cookout event.


Joe Ceccarelli   Joe Ceccarelli is the Director of OSHA Compliance at Cook Professional Resources, Inc. d.b.a. Safety Trainers. His work experience includes carpentry, masonry, hardscape, excavation, steel erection and fabrication of ornamental steel products. After surviving an industrial accident in 2002 his focus shifted to safety in the workplace. Joe has been implementing safety programs, writing policy, consulting and training throughout New England since 2007, training 4,000+ people annually. He holds a 2A Hydraulics License, OSHA 10 & 30 Instructor Certification in both Construction & General Industry and has completed the OSHA 500, 511 & 501 Outreach Trainer Courses. A featured speaker at JLC Live 2012, Joe will be co-hosting an upcoming weekly radio show.


Robert Sherwood

  Robert Sherwood, Senior Project Manager, of Conservation Services Group, has extensive experience in both new construction and retrofit. Robert coordinates ENERGY STAR certification of new homes in southern New England, provides green home ratings, and oversees field staff to deliver inspections, ratings, and certifications. He has been with CSG since 1992 in a variety of vital capacities including project coordinator, technical assessor, air-sealer, trainer, and HVAC specialist. Prior to that, Robert was self-employed as a construction subcontractor. Robert holds an Associate’s degree in Architectural Engineering from the Franklin Institute of Technology and is certified in HVAC from Peterson School of Engineering. He is also a BPI Building Analyst, BPI Heating Specialist, and holds HERS certification, among other credentials.


Jon Dember   Jon Dember, Field Project Associate, of Conservation Services Group, with experience in residential new construction and renovation, performs ENERGY STAR certification of new homes in southern New England. Jon delivers inspections, ratings, and certifications. He also performs builder outreach for residential new construction programs in RI and MA. Jon joined CSG in 2004, first as outreach support specialist, and later as field technician. Prior to that, he worked as housing inspector for Section 8 programs in Rhode Island and New York State, after working on home construction crews. Jon holds Associate of Arts and Bachelors of Arts degrees, and maintains HERS certification, among other credentials.


Dave Caldwell Jr., Vice President of Caldwell & Johnson Custom Builders and Remodelers

Dave Caldwell, Green Residential Advocate and Claudia Torres, LEED AP BD+C will be on-hand representing U.S. Green Building Council, Rhode Island Chapter to answer your questions.

Dave Caldwell Jr., Vice President of Caldwell & Johnson Custom Builders and Remodelers. Member of the Board of Directors of the RI Builders Association and Residential Green Building Advocate of the RI Green Building Council. Dave is responsible for the oversight of design and construction of high performance green homes and green certification programs at Caldwell & Johnson, which include Energy Star, the NAHB National Green Building Standard, LEED for Homes and the Dept of Energy Challenge Home program. Prior to returning to RI in 2008, Dave served as a commission officer in the US Marine Corps from 1998 to 2006 and a project manager for Clark Construction Group, California, from 2006 to 2008. He holds the designations of LEED Accredited Professional and NAHB Certified Green Professional.

Claudia Torres, LEED AP BD+C, is the current Director of Operations and Programs at the RI Green Building Council.
