This beautiful renovation has transformed the original basic kitchen into an open concept living space that is much more functional for the homeowners.
Notice the difference made by the taller, stylish Schrock cabinetry with new decorative hardware and millwork mouldings providing the finishing touch reaching the ceiling. New countertops, sink, faucet, dishwasher, and microwave over the stove complete the transformation.

Danielle worked with the homeowners to make budget friendly decisions, spending money where it makes the most difference to function as well as style.
The main footprint of cabinetry remained the same, with the sink in the same position, which helps the budget. Also, the homeowners kept the same stove and refrigerator. The cabinetry footprint was expanded to include the storage tower at the end.
The wall opposite the sink, where there was previously a small area for table and chairs was transformed when the regular size doorway was expanded and and a useful cabinetry corner is created, which can be used as a buffet area when entertaining and also frames this corner of the kitchen area.
Additional Areas
The newly remodeled open floor plan includes cabinetry in the dining area adjacent to the front door of the home. It could be used as a "landing zone" for keys and mail. This cabinetry along with the new tall cabinet added to the end kitchen cabinetry wall provide convenient storage.
