In 2002, with a fourteen year history in kitchen design and cabinetry sales, National Lumber strategically developed this division of the company. In 2003, Kitchen Views was created, a name that has rapidly become known for quality products and excellence in design and customer service.

Today, Kitchen Views has five locations in Massachusetts. Kitchen Views Custom is in Newton Center, and four Kitchen Views at National Lumber showrooms, located in Berlin, Mansfield, Newton Highlands, and New Bedford. Another showroom is scheduled to open soon inside the National Lumber store in Salem, MA. But contractors are already receiving cabinetry design services at this location.

Kitchen Views at National Lumber showrooms provide semi-custom and standard cabinetry. We serve both the seasoned professional and the first-time homeowner with cabinetry, countertops, and hardware. Our selection of quality products along with experienced, knowledgeable, professional staff providing design and service has steadily grown our customer base.

In addition, Kitchen Views' Contract Kitchen Sales division specializes in supplying large scale luxury development projects and multi-unit projects. Click here for a PDF outlining the Commercial division.

To complete the picture and satisfy the needs of fine custom builders, renovators, and their clients, Kitchen Views Custom was opened on Beacon Street in the heart of Newton Center. In its very first year, the 6000 square foot custom showroom was named the Best Design Showroom in the United States by a leading industry trade magazine.

In October 2005, Kitchen Views Custom opened a temporary satellite showroom at Waterworks in Chestnut Hill, just a few miles down the road from its main location. Having been recognized for design excellence and superior results, Kitchen Views offered custom products and design services to the owners of this exciting new community.

In April 2007, National Lumber purchased Coldwell's in Berlin, MA. Their Arborway Kitchens showroom became a Kitchen Views at National Lumber showroom.

Work was also finished in late 2007 on a Kitchen Views at National Lumber showroom in Salem, MA. This location has been serving contractors for some time, but now welcomes homeowners to visit.

In May 2008, two showrooms were in the spotlight. Kitchen Views Custom moved to a new location at 64 Needham Street in Newton and we celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of Kitchen Views in Berlin with all new vignettes.

In July 2008, National Lumber purchased Tibo Lumber in Boscawen, New Hampshire. Tibo's kitchen department now becomes the seventh Kitchen Views showroom and our first expansion beyond Massachusetts.
